Vocalises

Below are accompaniments to the most common exercises I use with my students. Please always keep in mind that these are intended for voice building more than as warm ups. They are meant to be executed thoughtfully with specific goals in mind and specific skills to acquire such as range, agility, legato and intonation. It is a different approach than warm ups you may encounter in choir class or theatre rehearsals where exercises are run through very quickly and without much attention to the process. Keeping this in mind will help you learn much faster and smarter!
